A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has revealed that his children are unable to secure employment in Nigeria because of his name.
Speaking on Nigeria Info FM 99.3, George expressed that there is widespread hunger in the country.
He emphasized that there is significant anger in Nigeria stemming from the pervasive hunger.
According to George: “Today in Nigeria, there is hunger and anger everywhere. It’s not just about my affiliation with the PDP; the fundamental issues are what truly matter.
“What have we done to positively affect the lives of ordinary Nigerians? There is immense anger and hunger throughout the land.
“Graduates are struggling without a future or hope; non-graduates are also idle. I proposed that the President establish a special fund to empower those who lack vocational training.
“Additionally, there should be microcredit available for young graduates wanting to start their own businesses.
“Recently, the First Lady announced plans to construct a national library and called for contributions.
“That funding should have come from the President, urging those in the banking sector who donated N20 billion in just two days to contribute that money, which would be considered public funds, and manage it effectively.
“The younger generation in this nation, including my own children who graduated quite some time ago, have returned and sought jobs, but they are unable to find employment because their name is Bode George.”
