MICHAEL CARRICK has broken another Ruben Amorim record after just four games.

The legend is in his second spell as interim boss of the Red Devils having replaced Amorim.

Amorim, 41, was sacked by the club in January after just 14 months in charge of the club.

, 44, has since been brought in on a deal until the end of the season and has so far enjoyed his stint.

He has already led the team to wins over , and in the Premier League.

Ahead of the game against Tottenham, the former boss named an unchanged XI.

It is the same team that has played in each of the three previous matches.

The consistency in the line-up is a stark comparison to Amorim, who only stuck by a selected XI once in his 47 Premier League games.

The one time Amorim kept his team unchanged was in the two fixtures against Brighton and .

The decision came off the back of beating the Seagulls 4-2 at before they drew 2-2 at the City Ground.

That result then saw the manager make the changes as , and were brought into the starting XI.

This meant that , and all dropped to the bench.

Since Carrick has taken charge, he has placed his faith in the same eleven players from the off.

For the game against Spurs, Carrick only made one change to the matchday squad.

He called up ‘s son, Tyler, to the bench in place of Shea Lacey.

Tyler had not made his Premier League bow in his three previous squad inclusions, after his twin Jack made three appearances in December.

It is the latest example of Carrick showing up his predecessor in the role of United manager.

He has already made more appearances to .

The retired midfielder has also made a major change to the squad’s weekly training schedule.
