Argentina World Cup winner Lionel Messi has named the best XI he has played alongside in his career thus far.
According to Goal Arabia, it is unsurprising to see that most of the players involved in Messi’s XI are his former teammates at Barcelona.
Messi, who spent nearly 17 years with the Blaugrana, picked 10 players from his boyhood club but added Kylian Mbappe to his dream XI.
Messi also has Neymar and former strike partner Luis Suarez, two players with whom he formed the ‘MSN’ trio at the Catalan giants for four years.
In midfield, Messi named Xavi and Andres Iniesta, along with Ronaldinho while his back four comprised Dani Alves, Carles Puyol, Xavier Mascherano and Jordi Alba.
He chose Marc-Andre ter Stegen as his choice of goalkeeper despite playing more alongside Victor Valdes.
