A POPULAR London-based burger chain has collapsed into administration – following dramatic losses in recent years.
The and joint has now officially appointed administrators, according to The Gazette .

MEATliquor, operated by Meatalier, was considered a cult-favourite spot for Londoners seeking high-quality street food.
But rising prices and surging operational bills have left the restaurant group in serious financial difficulties.
Last month, the chain shuttered five of its eight locations across London, including those in Islington, Clapham Junction, and Queensway.
Just three sites now remain, with two in Oxford Circus and East Dulwich, and its sister sports bar, BLOODsports, in Covent Garden.
Founder Scott Collins previously told Restaurant Online : “On top of VAT, rates, beef and energy costs, we’ve now got a new war creating uncertainty and more Tube to deal with.
“We’re in the same position as a lot of others in the industry and I’m just getting ahead of things before we’re forced to.”
Yianni Papoutsis established the group in 2009, alongside partner Scott Collins.
It began as a mobile burger van, known as the MEATwagon, before evolving into a series of across London and the South East.
Its first permanent location opened near Oxford Street in 2011.
At its peak, the chain operated 13 restaurants, with 12 in the UK and one in Singapore.
