TELLY fans are delighted with the news that a major noughties hit show is making another comeback.
The school-based documentary series, which made stars of both its pupils and teachers, is said to be in pre-production ahead of filming beginning at the start of the new academic year.

Educating Yorkshire first aired in 2013 and became an unlikely TV smash as it documented life at Thornhill Community Academy in Dewsbury.
The series produced some unforgettable moments, including English teacher Mr Burton helping student overcome his stammer in scenes that moved viewers across the country.
Mr Burton later became headteacher in 2018 and went on to inspire another generation of pupils with the school’s motto: “Be Nice, Work Hard.”

In a full-circle moment, Musharaf later returned to the school to speak to students about his life since appearing on the programme.
Now, according to TV Zone the show is reportedly set to return to screens once again in 2027.
has yet to officially announce the commission, and there is still speculation over whether Thornhill Community Academy will once again be the focus of the series.
However, it is believed original co-creators Grace Reynolds and David Clews are back on board for what has been described as a reimagining of the iconic format.
The original series, itself a spin-off of , spawned several follow-up shows including Educating Greater Manchester and Educating Cardiff.
