DAYS before police say a husband killed his wife in a Christmas argument, he shared dark posts on social media about war in marriage and Satan.

Mom-of-three, Crystal Kenney, was shot dead and her teenage daughter critically wounded after an argument about a television remote during an NFL game erupted into a violent shooting, police revealed.

Kenney killed his wife with a single bullet and shot his 13-year-old stepdaughter twice on December 22 before turning the gun on himself once surrounded by cops, Sheriff Grady Judd said.

When the argument erupted, Crystal told her 12-year-old son to run to the neighbor’s to call 911 and as he fled he heard gunshots.

Both he and the couple’s one-year-old baby were unharmed in the incident, with the infant being found by officers asleep in her crib.

The argument was sparked when Crystal didn’t want Jason, who police say had been drinking, to keep watching the NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and Indiana Colts inside the house.

Now, chilling social media posts shared by Kenney just hours before the tragedy have been found on Facebook.

In one, he shared a meme of old people dancing, saying “mood knowing 49ers are playing tonight.”

But before that, he shared an even darker post about Satan targeting his wife.

Both posts have since received comments from shocked friends and family.

“God Jason why?” one wrote.

At 9:54pm on December 22, he shared a video from a pastor about marriage, thanking a friend in the caption with a heart emoji.

After news spread about the shooting, she commented on the post saying she was “heartbroken”.

In the clip, the pastor tells viewers, “I always like to say, after the wedding comes the war.

“I hear single guys all the time like ‘I’m really in a spiritual battle, I can’t wait until I get married and the battle is over.'”

“That’s first and second nonsense…how many of you, your spiritual warefare, your demonic attack, didn’t even really ramp up until you got married?” the pastor asked.

“Satan wants your wife. I always tell men that if they don’t lead their family, Satan will,” the caption to the video adds.

The couple had been married for two years when Kenney killed his wife.

In what would be her final social media posts, Crystal shared a picture of herself and her three children standing next to Christmas decorations as well as a picture with her baby bump while carrying her youngest daughter.

PLEAS FOR HELP

A search of the property after the incident uncovered a heartbreaking note she wrote to Kenney begging him to get help.

“You’re drinking, you’re using cocaine again. This is not the way the family should be. You need God,” it read.

Grim details about the shooting were shared at a press conference by Sheriff Judd.

He recalled how officers found Crystal’s wounded daughter in a bedroom with gunshot wounds to the face and shoulder.

“She said, ‘I begged him, don’t shoot me, don’t shoot me, don’t shoot me, and he shot me anyway,” the Sheriff said, recalling what the girl told him.

He called the child’s survival a “Christmas miracle” after one of the bullets hit the bridge of her nose, travelled up through her head, and exited at the top.

Police have since told The U.S. Sun that she is receiving “excellent treatment” in hospital and is expected to recover.

After finding the bloody crime scene, officers tracked Kenney down to a shed at his father’s house where he had barricaded himself in.

Once surrounded, a single gunshot rang out and he was found dead inside.

On his way to the property, Kenney called his sister telling her he had done “something very, very bad,” Judd said.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office told The U.S. Sun that Kenney had no criminal history and had not been linked to any official reports of domestic abuse from his wife.

All three children are now in the care of Crystal’s parents.
