FANS have been left in stitches after Ian Machado Garry hilariously tried to ruin his rival’s weight loss regime.
The Irish fighter is the reserve for Belal Muhammad vs Jack Della Maddalena at on Saturday night.
And as Della Maddalena tries to before the bout, Garry got creative to tempt the Australian into not making weight.
He asked AI what his favourite food is and peanut were the answer.
So Garry brilliantly sent his two-year-old son Leo to gatecrash an interview and hand a huge bag of the multi-coloured sweets.
He saw the funny side as Leo held the bag aloft and said: “Gift for you.”;
A smiling Della Maddalena replied: “They look good, thank you. Legend.”;
He then high-fived Leo before the toddler ran back to his proud dad.
Fans found it hilarious, with one saying: “Garry doing everything so he doesn’t hit the weight.”;
Another added: “Leo is a gentleman.”;
A third wrote: “This was so wholesome.”;
Garry also got his son to pretend to interview before the fight and UFC welterweight champion joked he was “the best interviewer he had so far”;.
But aside from the fun, there was plenty of fighting talk from Garry, who told Full Send MMA: “Sean Brady, boring. No one really cares about him.
“No one really wants to watch him fight. Half the stadium was empty when him and Leon [Edwards] fought. They don’t care about him.
“At the end of the day, I’m still taking fights on short notice against the most dangerous guys in the division.
“We’ll see if that makes the difference when it comes to title contendership.”;
