UCL: Their fans should be disapointed – Parker predicts PSG vs Arsenal second leg

Published on May 01, 2025 at 11:21 AM

Former Manchester United defender, Paul Parker has ruled out any possibility of Arsenal making a comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final second leg tie.

Arsenal will travel to Paris for their Champions League semi-final second leg fixture against PSG.

The Gunners had lost 1-0 against the French Ligue 1 champions on Tuesday at Emirates Stadium.

However, Parker believes Mikel Arteta’s side cannot be able to fight back against PSG in Paris, ruling out their chances of reaching the Champions League final.

“If you are an Arsenal fan, you’d be a bit disappointed really. You want them [the team] to give you something to cheer about, not them telling you to cheer,”; Parker said via iGaming as quoted by Metro UK.

“I don’t think Arsenal can fight back [against PSG] in the Champions League.”;

Meanwhile, Arsenal will take on Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday in their next game.

PSG, on the other hand, will tackle Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 tie this weekend.
