UCL: PSG receive huge boost ahead of second leg tie with Arsenal

Published on May 05, 2025 at 08:25 PM

Paris Saint-Germain have received a significant boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg tie against Arsenal on Wednesday.

This follows the sighting of key forward Ousmane Dembélé in training on Monday morning, ahead of the crucial encounter in Paris.

It will be recalled that the French international sustained a hamstring injury during the first leg at the Emirates Stadium last Tuesday.

Dembélé missed PSG’s Ligue 1 defeat to Strasbourg at the weekend in an effort to recover in time for the Arsenal fixture.

However, according to French outlet RMC Sport, the former Barcelona star completed three of the four exercises planned by Luis Enrique’s squad and reportedly “felt good”; during the session.

The report added that the “goal”; for PSG’s coaching and medical staff is “clear.”;

This suggests that Dembélé could feature in the highly anticipated clash against the Premier League’s North London side on Wednesday night.

Dembélé has been in excellent form for PSG this season across all competitions.
