UCL: PSG, Arsenal set to join Inter Milan in final

Published on May 07, 2025 at 08:21 AM

The two finalists for this year’s Champions League will be determined by Wednesday night.

Yesterday, Inter Milan became the first team to book their spot, following a gripping 4-3 win over Barcelona at the San Siro.

Inter and Barca had played out an exciting 3-3 draw in Spain and the return leg also ended 3-3 in Italy.

Davide Fratessi scored what proved to be the decisive goal in extra time to send the Serie A side through.

It is the second final in three years for Simone Inzaghi’s men.

Their opponents will be either Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal.

The newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions won 1-0 at the Emirates last week and will be fancying themselves to progress.

If PSG play in second gear against Mikel Arteta’s side, then they could easily let them back into the tie.

The their second leg display against Aston Villa in the quarter-final, is a perfect example of this, as they gave Unai Emery’s side a way back into the tie in the second half of the second leg.
