2025 U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles will fight to beat ‘tough’ opponent, Morocco — Benjamin

Flying Eagles forward, APrecious Benjamin says the team is battle ready for Sunday’s Group B clash against Morocco at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The encounter will hold at the June 30 Air Defence Stadium, Cairo.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side opened their campaign with a 1-0 win over the Young Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.

Morocco on the other hand rallied to beat Kenya 3-2.

A win for both teams will see them book a place quater-finals.

“We are going to face a difficult opponent, a technical side. They also won their first game and will be make things difficult for us,”; Benjamin told the team’s media officer.

“For us, qualifying for the World Cup is the main target, we are sure of achieving our objective.”;

The game will kick-off at 7pm Nigeria time.
