Published on May 03, 2025 at 06:31 PM

Victor Osimhen bagged a brace as Galatasaray thrashed Sivasspor 4-1 to maintain their charge for a third consecutive Turkish Süper Lig title.

Osimhen netted Galatasaray’s second and fourth goals of the evening.

The forward was replaced by Dries Mertens with 20 minutes remaining.

The 26-year-old now has 40 goal contributions for the Yellow and Reds this season (33 goals and seven assists).

Osimhen has also surpassed his previous best goal tally in a single season (31), which he achieved during Napoli’s title-winning campaign two years ago.

Okan Buruk’s side sit top of the table with 83 points from 32 matches.
