Tinubu extends birthday greetings to Governor Alia

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday greetings to the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr .Hyacinth Alia, who turned a year older on Thursday, May 15.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Alia for his deep sense of compassion and commitment to public service, which he said stems from his background in the priesthood.

Tinubu commended the Benue State governor for translating his spiritual values of integrity and selflessness into impactful governance.

He lauded Alia’s efforts to ensure peace, security and stability in the state, noting the governor’s bold and focused approach to tackling developmental challenges.

“Governor Alia has shown steadfast dedication to the well-being of the people of Benue. His leadership reflects courage, clarity, and an unwavering commitment to good governance,”;; the statement read.

The President reiterated his administration’s support for the governor’s efforts, adding that Alia’s ideals align with the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda —aimed at national security, uplifting lives and fostering unity.

Tinubu encouraged Governor Alia to continue guiding Benue on a path of “healing, progress, and purposeful governance”;;.

“On this special day, I pray for God’s continued blessings upon you—granting you wisdom, strength, and good health as you steer Benue toward greater heights,”;; the President said.

“Happy Birthday, Governor Alia.”;;
