I thought I was getting a bargain homeware buy for just £7 on Temu – my order fail had me in hysterics when it arrived

A SAVVY shopper has revealed he thought he was getting his hands on purse-friendly homeware buys when he placed his most recent order on Temu.

But despite this, the was left in hysterics when his arrived.

Keen to alert others to his blunder, the took to to share a clip of what he ordered, versus .

The man bought what he thought would be two rubbish bins from , the online marketplace offering heavily consumer goods.

The from the e-commerce site looked perfect for collecting rubbish and were advertised as being made of ‘durable’ and ‘scratch resistant steel wire mesh’.

Rather than large wire bins, the tiny buys, which were advised as being 26cm high and 23cm wide, were in fact a similar size to the man’s – yes, you heard that correctly.

Smaller than his hands, the plastic waste bins which were advertised as having non-slip pads to keep them in place, didn’t have the modern and stylish finish he had hoped.

Alongside the short video, the user tried to make light of his and wrote: “There isn’t even enough space for a paper ball in here.”;

Resembling the size of a shot glass, the red-faced man also added: “That’s how small the bin is.”;

The clip, which was posted under the username @wecheckit, has clearly left people open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone and racked up three million views.

It’s also amassed 41,500 likes, 4,120 comments and 26,000 shares.

Social media users were left in hysterics at the man’s epic fail and many rushed to the comments to express this.
