Chaos is about to descend on Bocheon Village in “Second Shot at Love.”;;
“Second Shot at Love”;; is a rom-com that follows Han Geum Ju (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker”;; who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.

Previously, Han Geum Ju returned to her hometown of Bocheon Village after calling off her engagement. Rumors quickly spread throughout the village that she was dumped for loving alcohol more than her fiancé. Her mother Kim Gwang Ok (Kim Sung Ryung), along with the rest of the village, didn’t hesitate to bombard her with stern lectures about her drinking. As if things weren’t bad enough, she also ran into Seo Ui Jun, a former friend she once cut ties with, making her new start all the more complicated.
Now, an unexpected turn of events throws the entire village into turmoil. Geum Ju suddenly vanishes—and her belongings are later discovered near the lake, sending shock and panic through her family and neighbors. The once-lively village is soon shrouded in tension and fear.
