“The First Night with the Duke”;; is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun) whose soul is transferred into a minor character of a romance novel. After she wakes up inside the world of the novel, she winds up spending the night with the obsessive male lead Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).
Seo Bum June plays Jung Soo Gyeom, the highly educated son of a prestigious noble family and the youngest official in the Office of Special Advisors. Despite being the only friend of the prickly main lead Yi Beon, Soo Gyeom’s personality is a stark contrast—gentle, kind, and soft-spoken. With his graceful demeanor and warm heart, Soo Gyeom is the very definition of a classic second lead, ready to win hearts both within the story and among viewers.
In newly released stills, Jung Soo Gyeom exudes poise and elegance, dressed in a light sky-blue robe that highlights his gentle nature. His soft gaze and tender smile hint at a warmth that makes him instantly endearing.
