Published on May 13, 2025 at 11:44 AM

Omoyele Sowore, a popular Nigerian activist, has slammed President Bola Tinubu-led administration over the lingering security crisis across the nation.

Sowore, who was reacting to a viral video clip of a recent terrorist attack, said “more sizable portions of Nigeria may fall under terrorist control”;; if the government fails to arrest the situation on time.

In a post on his X account, the former presidential candidate described Tinubu’s government as corrupt and ineffective.

According to him, the country currently has no leadership direction to end the security challenges.

He wrote, “Nigeria’s security situation has massively deteriorated under the ineffective and corrupt regime of @officialABAT, making it conceivable that more sizable portions of Nigeria may fall under terrorist control, as witnessed in Syria.

“The country -Nigeria-is without leadership direction at present. #RevolutionNow”;;.
