NWFL playoff: Bayelsa Queens on right path to glory – Ogbonda

Bayelsa Queens head coach, Whyte Ogbonda believed that the 1-0 win over Rivers Angels has set the team on the right path at the Super Six playoff tournament.

Ogbonda said that the victory will encourage his team to work harder in their next match of the competition.

“The victory will encourage my players to work harder in subsequent matches,”;; Ogbonda stated in a post-match interview.

“I know they will not be complacent when they take on their next opponent”;;.

Ogbonda stated that the players are highly motivated to win the competition.

“The biggest motivation for my players is psychological and monetary from the Bayelsa State Government as everything needed for this tournament has been provided,”;; he added.

Bayelsa Queens will be up against Nasarawa Amazons in a matchday two fixture at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Monday.
