Bendel Insurance technical adviser, Greg Ikhenoba, has expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players in the final rounds of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Benin Arsenals are expected to finish in a reputable position at the end of the campaign.
Bendel Insurance occupy fifth position on the NPFL table.
Ikhenoba also commended the fans for their support in the progress of the team.
“I’m happy we are not among those battling relegation. Thank God for the goal and the ability to hold on to it till the end,”;; Ikhenoba stated after their 1-0 win over Heartland in Benin City on Sunday.
“We will take the last game in Enugu and see what happens.
“I really appreciate the players and our fans—the supporters’ club—for the support we have received so far. They didn’t lose hope; they stood by us throughout.”;;
The 2023 Federation Cup winners will be up against Lobi Stars in their final match of the season.
