Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has named three signings Arsenal need to make in the summer transfer window after ending their season trophyless.
Arsenal have not won a major trophy since the FA Cup in 2020.
The Gunners have also not won the Premier League since 2004.
Mikel Arteta’s side narrowly missed out on the top-flight title to Manchester City in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
This season, they have fell short to Liverpool as they are currently fighting to finish in second position.
However, Neville believes Arsenal need three new signings â two forwards and a midfielder â this summer.
“I’m glad that on Friday in his press conference [Arteta] said [they’d] gone backwards in the Premier League,”;; Neville told Sky Sports.
“They have got to deal with that â [Thomas] Partey’s not great at that, Declan Rice was proven in the first leg against PSG that he is not great at it, he is better going forwards.
“So those two key positions, they need two forwards and they need another midfield player.
“But the forward part of it â they have signed one striker in seven seasons as a football club.”;;
