NPFL: Enyimba must end season on positive note

Published on May 25, 2025 at 01:59 PM

Enyimba technical adviser Stanley Eguma says his team will approach their final match of the season against Plateau United with a winning mindset.

The former league champions will do battle with Plateau United at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Sunday (today).

The People’s Elephant missed out on a continental ticket after their inconsistent performance in the league.

Eguma said the team wants to win the game for the supporters.

“We’ll approach the game like every other, but with the sole aim of getting victory as a ‘thank you gift’ to our fans,”;; Eguma told Completesports.

Enyimba have recorded 14 wins, 13 draws and 10 defeats in 37 league matches.
