On May 12, Nam Bo Ra took to her Instagram to share her thoughts along with joyful photos from her wedding. She wrote:

My friends—who I call friends, but really, they are my youth.
And to my mentors, seniors, and sisters and brothers who showed me the way when I was walking down a path as rough as a gravel road...
I’m not really such a great person, but...
The people around me have guided me onto the right path and helped shape who I am.On May 10, I shared a piece of my life with all those people.
It was such a happy and joyful time.
I’ll treasure all the love you’ve sent me, and I’ll live my life giving back to even more people.

On May 10, Nam Bo Ra tied the knot with a businessman of the same age after him for over two years. The wedding was hosted by comedian Kim Ki Ri, and congratulatory songs were performed by actresses Park Jin Joo and Kim Min Young, whom she became close with through the film “Sunny.”;;
