May Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from April 10 to May 10.

BTS continued their reign at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 7,811,108, marking a 2.54 percent increase in their score since April. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jin,”; “Jimin,”; and “Jungkook,”; while their highest-ranking related terms included “prove,”; “sold out,”; and “support.”; BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.02 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 5,729,258.

BIGBANG rose to third place on this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 3,381,072 for May.

TWS shot to fourth place after seeing an 85.77 percent rise in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score for the month to 3,135,194.

Finally, THE BOYZ rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,819,185.
