Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has suggested that the issue concerning leadership crisis rocking the Labour Party is over.
Otti claimed that they had fought and retrieved the party from Julius Abure.
The Governor stated this while speaking in an interview with Arise Television’s Rufai Oseni aired during The Morning Show programme on Friday.
The statement comes days after the in Abuja, which had recognized Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP).
The apex court held that the Court of Appeal lacked the jurisdiction to pronounce Abure as the National Chairman of the LP.
However, Abure has openly declared that there is no vacuum in the party leadership.
But Otti while speaking to Arise Television dismissed Abure’s claim, saying he is just ‘masturbating’.
He said: “Not everyone must be in the APC; this is a democracy, and sometimes you must stand for something. I can’t say I wouldn’t leave the Labour Party; what if the party is non-existent tomorrow?
“The party that brought me to power is Labour. Okay. Today we have fought and retrieved the Labour Party. I will send you the supreme Court judgment, and when you finish reading it you will know that Abure is just masturbating.”;
