Actor Kim Seon Ho celebrated his birthday in an especially meaningful way!
On May 9, the Korean Red Cross announced that Kim Seon Ho donated 50 million won (approximately $35,700) to support young adults preparing for independence (children who have aged out of the foster care system).
May 8, Kim Seon Ho’s birthday, is also “World Red Cross Day”; which adds special meaning to his donation. In particular, the support for young adults preparing for independence was decided through a fan club vote, making the donation even more meaningful thanks to the participation and empathy of his fans.
Kim Seon Ho shared, “Thanks to my fan club ‘Seonhohada,’ which always stays by my side, I have been able to continue making donations. I hope this will provide practical help to young people preparing for independence.”;
Earlier this year, Kim Seon Ho also donated 50 million won to help with recovery efforts following wildfire damage in the Yeongnam region.
