JTBC’s “Heavenly Ever After”;; has shared an intriguing new glimpse of its next episode!
“Heavenly Ever After”;; is a transcendent romance drama starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death. Unlike the other residents of heaven—including her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), who has chosen to return to the 30-something version of himself—Lee Hae Sook makes the unusual choice to keep her 80-year-old appearance.

Previously on “Heavenly Ever After,”;; Som Yi (Han Ji Min) became afraid that she might be a bad person after failing to recover her memories. She was unable to figure out why she was so filled with rage and hatred at the sight of the man in the Hawaiian shirt (Jung Jin Gak) that she wound up strangling him, and she also began to feel guilty as she realized that she was developing feelings for Go Nak Joon. Meanwhile, at the end of the latest episode, Go Nak Joon was shocked and furious to learn that the “Hawaiian shirt man”;; was none other than Kang Jeong Gu, the detective he had been looking for.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Go Nak Joon is suddenly attacked by Kang Jeong Gu. The former detective pounces on him and starts choking him with a murderous expression, seemingly putting his life in danger.
After witnessing the scene, Som Yi collapses into Go Nak Joon’s arms—and she appears to be unconscious as she rests on his shoulder. Meanwhile, a mysterious man in a black suit is seen leading Kang Jeong Gu away.
The “Heavenly Ever After”;; production team teased, “With the revelation that Go Nak Joon and Som Yi share a common memory of ‘Hawaiian shirt man’ Kang Jeong Gu, the mystery surrounding not only Som Yi’s identity but also her relationship with Go Nak Joon will intensify.
