MORNING Live stars Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton have reportedly grown close away from the show – three years after her tough split from husband Richie Myler.
Sources close to the presenters revealed they have been supporting each other on and off the screen.
A source told MailOnline: “Helen and Gethin have an extremely close working relationship and there’s a feeling in recent months their friendship has blossomed into a deeper connection.
“They’re both keen to keep a lid on it to avoid public scrutiny but there’s no denying their closeness both on and off screen.”;;
They were pictured close at the and last year were spotted at a charity ball set up by ‘s sisters, with a source adding about the ball: “It was very clear that Helen and Gethin were together as a couple at the event.
“They were with close friends of Helen’s and their connection was undeniable.”;;
The insider continued: “Helen and Gethin have been able to attend events together without much fanfare purely because they’re work colleagues ... but anyone who has seen them at these bashes will testify they look extremely cosy.”;;

Gethin, who has former Towie star and was engaged to mezzo-soprano singer , recently revealed that he’s had little success on the dating scene.
He said he was struck off the popular dating app because women didn’t believe his profile was really him.
He joked about his love life on Gordon Smart’s Restless Natives podcast: “Writing to an online dating app ... ‘Hi it’s Gethin here, 46.
“‘I just want to get my money back because it’s not really working for me,’ eating some cereal because I hadn’t got some food in.'”;;
Helen and Gethin took part in an earlier this year and both gushed about each other after raising £34million for charity.
Helen said on social media: “I don’t publicly say often enough how much love and respect I have for you my friend because I assume it is well known.

He previously spoke about feeling at his lowest point after his split in 2011 from Katherine.
He said: “I was engaged and then breaking up, afterwards, or even during that period, it was just awful.
“I remember doing BBC Radio 5Live and going into the toilet at 5.30am going, ‘All right. Come on. Just focus for the next three hours, and then you can go back to being sad again.’
“I definitely had a bad bout of depression during that time.”;;
