Europa League top scorers ahead of Man Utd vs Tottenham final

Three players are currently the joint-top leading scorers in the UEFA Europa League, UEL, following the conclusion of the semi-final second leg fixtures on Thursday night.

They are Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Bodø/Glimt’s Kasper Høgh and Olympiacos’ Ayoub El Kaabi.

Fernandes, Høghall and El Kaabi all have seven goals to their names.

Recall that Manchester United defeated Athletic Club 4-1 at Old Trafford to qualify for the final on a 7-1 aggregate win.

Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, defeated Bodø/Glimt 2-0 to also advance to the Europa League final on a 5-1 aggregate win.

Man United will now face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final on May 21.

Europa League top scorers so far:

7 goals – Bruno Fernandes, Ayoub El Kaabi and Kasper Høgh.

6 goals – Václav Černý, Youssef En-Nesyri, Malick Fofana, Rasmus Højlund, Victor Osimhen, Samu and Barnabás Varga.

5 goals – Mikel Oyarzabal, Dominic Solanke, Kenneth Taylor, Iñaki Williams, Nico Williams and Yunus Akgün.
