Published on May 15, 2025 at 02:21 PM

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has confirmed two players will miss his side’s Premier League tie with Manchester United on Friday.

The two players are Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt.

According to Amorim, both defenders might not travel with the rest of the squad to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

“I don’t know if they [De Ligt and Yoro] are going to be available,”;; Amorim said at his pre-match interview (via UtdDistrict on X).

“I think they will not go to Chelsea, but some are a possibility for the final.”;;

De Ligt, who is currently recovery from a knee problem, has missed Man United’s last two games.

Yoro, meanwhile, picked a knock during Man United’s 2-0 defeat to West Ham United last weekend.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are in 5th position in the Premier League table, while Man United are in 16th position.
