DAVID and Victoria Beckham’s much talked about rift with son Brooklyn has now taken a fresh twist.
I’m told their eldest lad was in London yesterday filming a huge new campaign with posh fashion company Moncler.
It comes after signed a mega-money deal to be an ambassador for the luxury Italian brand with his wife .
But in a bitter turn of events, was just up the road — five minutes away by car — hanging out at the with and .
An insider said: “Brooklyn and David couldn’t have been closer in distance yesterday, but their relationship is still strained.
“It’s all very difficult given just how close the pair used to be.
“Brooklyn has now signed a six-figure deal to front Moncler’s new campaign and flew into London to shoot it yesterday. He was being photographed in the street and people passing by couldn’t believe it when they saw it was Brooklyn.
“It’s a huge deal for him. Brooklyn is a great model and knows how to turn it on for the cameras.
“But it strikes a chord knowing how close in distance Brooklyn was to David given how tense their relations have been recently.
“Brooklyn was literally filming five minutes away by car.”;;
Brooklyn and Becks were incredibly close before the current rift started to pull them apart.
Deeply saddened
And while both are putting a brave face on it, as well as Brooklyn and his wife Nicola, it seems this affair has been very painful for all involved.
When , his family trip to France and his star-studded bash at Core in West London earlier this month, Posh and Becks were said to be deeply saddened.
But friends close to Brooklyn and Nicola insisted they had tried to meet with his parents, but said their offer was rebuffed.
It’s a sorry state of affairs when families fall out.
And with the cause of the “feud”;; being levelled firmly at Brooklyn’s wife’s door, I fear it’s going to take a UN summit to get them all to clear the air.
