English campsite named best farm attraction in the UK reveals new kid’s playground and glamping

AN English campsite named the best farm attraction in the UK has opened a new play area and glamping site in time for the summer.

William’s Den in North Cave, East , has opened a new toddler zone which has natural, inclusive play tailored to small children and a new glamping site.

The attraction was also recently named the Small Farm Attraction of the Year

The new area at the National Farm Attractions Network winner for Small Farm Attraction of the Year, includes a ‘Little Slide and Hut’, which is a cosy timber hut with a gentle slide.

There is also a ‘Bouncing Flower’, which is a springy ans cheerful flower that helps toddlers develop balance and coordination.

The ‘Toddler’s Table’ provides a great space for crafts, snack time or group play and the ‘Mud Kitchen and Plant Box’ encourages multi-sensory, messy play, as children can mix, pour and explore with their hands.

For something a little more active, there is also a ‘Totter Trail’ and ‘Totter Beam’ – which is a series of balance beams, crawl spaces and hand ropes.

Children can gently ride on the ‘Swinging Horses’ or climb up ‘Hobbit Hill’, too.

The new play area has sound cushions and triangles to provoke tactile exploration.
