23rd Director’s Cut Awards Announces Winners

On May 20 at 7 p.m. KST, the ceremony for the 23rd Director’s Cut Awards was held, with the acclaimed Korean occult film “Exhuma”;; taking home four trophies.

The Director’s Cut Awards is a ceremony where winners are selected through votes by members of the DGK (Directors Guild of Korea). The awards are divided into film and series categories, and this year’s ceremony was held privately.

On May 21, DGK officially announced that “Exhuma”;; won the Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress (Kim Go Eun), and Best New Actor (Lee Do Hyun) awards in the film category at the award ceremony.

Best New Director (Film): Nam Dong Hyeop (“Handsome Guys”;;)

Best Screenplay (Film): Jang Jae Hyun (“Exhuma”;;)

Best Actor (Film): Lee Byung Hun (“The Match”;;)
Best Actress (Film):

Best Actor (Series): Lee Hee Joon (“A Killer Paradox”;;)

Bae Doo Na (“Family Matters”;;)
