Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a prominent clergyman from Plateau State, has asserted that he has conducted mass burials over 70 times in response to the alleged massacre of Nigerian Christians by Islamic extremists.
In a conversation with a British journalist, the clergyman criticized the Nigerian government for its lack of attention towards the killings of Christians in the nation.
He stated, “I have performed numerous genocide burials, more than 70 times. Some graves contain the remains of five hundred and one individuals killed in just one night."
“The Nigerian government downplayed that incident because Islamic extremists are influencing the government,” he added.
Dachomo claimed that the Boko Haram terrorist organization was formed by certain government officials to oust former President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to him, this initiative aimed to displace Christians from positions of power and replace them with a Muslim counterpart.
“The background of this initial investigation is that many high-ranking government officials created Boko Haram to remove Goodluck Jonathan, who is a Christian,” he explained.
“They incited riots in every village, causing people to flee and be relocated. Their objective is to eliminate Christians because Goodluck is a Christian. That’s why Goodluck said, ‘my blood is not worth it,’” he concluded.
