Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has enacted two new revenue laws aimed at enhancing state revenue and ensuring more transparent tax collection.

The new laws are the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service Establishment Law, 2025, and the Kogi State Taxes and Levies (Approved List for Collection) Law, 2025.

During the signing event on Thursday, Governor Ododo stated that both laws are driven by digital technology, designed to minimize human involvement and enhance accountability.
