THE GAA All-Ireland hurling Final arrives THIS SUNDAY, with Galway facing Limerick in one of the biggest weekends on the Irish sporting calendar.

This weekend’s clash is a repeat of the 2018 final, in which The Treaty County won 3-16 to 2-18 to clinch their first title in 45 years.
It is also the first time in eight years that Galway have won the Leinster title, emphatically beating Dublin 4-29 to 4-15.
They will be looking for a similar performance from Tom Monaghan this weekend – the forward scored seven points against the Dubs last month.
Galway comfortably beat last time out to reach the final, while Limerick edged past Clare to set up this mouthwatering clash at Croke Park.
After winning five titles in the past nine years, The Shannonsiders are eyeing a 13th All-Ireland crown – Galway have won five in their history, losing in 20 other finals.
