A FIEND who faked a Tinder profile for his ex-girlfriend before inviting multiple men to her home to her rape her has been jailed.

At least 18 men turned up the victim’s home – including four in one night – after receiving messages on the bogus profile from Asad Hussain discussing “rape fantasies”.

The messages from the bogus account said she wanted to be “roughed up” and that if she said “no” it meant she “wanted it more”.

One broke her front door after shattering a glass panel after Hussain told him to “shove” it while pretending to be his ex.

Another date entered her home while the victim’s teenage daughter was upstairs alone.

Hussain’s sinister plot came to light when several men spoke to to help them track down the owner of the fake account.

The 36-year-old has now been jailed for eight years after he was convicted of stalking, assault by beating and failing to comply with an order.

Chester Crown Court heard Hussain first began talking to the woman using the fake name of ‘Mick Renney’ in April 2024.

He became increasingly controlling as their relationship developed and on one occasion, rang the victim’s doorbell for two hours straight because a male friend was visiting.

They split a month later when Hussain went through his ex’s phone and he later accused the woman of cheating.

Domestic abuse - how to get help

DOMESTIC abuse can affect anyone - including men - and does not always involve physical violence.

Here are some signs that you could be in an abusive relationship:

  • Emotional abuse – Including being belittled, blamed for the abuse – gaslighting – being isolated from family and friends, having no control over your finances, what you where and who you speak to
  • Threats and intimidation – Some partners might threaten to kill or hurt you, destroy your belongings, stalk or harass you
  • Physical abuse – This can range from slapping or hitting to being shoved over, choked or bitten.
  • Sexual abuse – Being touched in a way you do not want to be touched, hurt during sex, pressured into sex or forced to have sex when you do not consent.

If any of the above apply to you or a friend, you can call these numbers:

Remember, you are not alone.

1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience domestic abuse over the course of their lifetime.

Every 30 seconds the police receive a call for help relating to domestic abuse.

Hussain then launched his plot to unleash “sheer horror” by setting up the fake profile.

Men soon began to arrive at his ex’s home in July 2024 and said they had been invited after matching with her on Tinder.

At least 18 are believed to have been tricked into attending her address – although the true number remains unknown.

When the victim contacted police, officers launched an investigation but couldn’t identify a ‘Mick Renney’ on any systems.

But when they checked her doorbell video, they identified that the car ‘Renney’ drove was registered to Hussain and insured to his business.

In a victim impact statement, the woman said no sentence “takes away the enormous impact his behaviour has had on both myself and my daughters”.

She added: “No person has the right to make me feel unsafe in my own home just because I no longer want to date them.

“No should mean no. Now I am left wondering how many men have my address and believe I want to be sexually assaulted, or worse.

“I appreciate today has delivered some closure and the criminal justice process is at an end however, Mr Hussain has never shown any remorse, never accepted responsibility and I know I will never understand why or receive an apology. That alone has been difficult to accept.”
