A European club has been hit with one of the biggest points deductions in football history and is in “danger of being excluded from all competitions.”
Ongoing financial problems for Romanian side FC U Craiova have resulted in them being slapped with an incredible 94-POINT deduction.

The Romanian Football Federation have hit Craiova with the sanction for their alleged failure to pay former coaches, employees and players outstanding wages.
According to DigiSport , a failure to meet financial obligations to rivals Dinamo Bucharest HAS also played a role in the mammoth points deduction.
Craiova are now, unsurprisingly, rock bottom of the Romanian Liga III.
But they could face further punishment if they don’t provide proof that they’ve paid their debts by September 3.
Failure to prove they’ve settled their outstanding debts could result in them being excluded from all FRF/LPF/AJF competitions.
Despite their immense troubles, Craiova owner Adrian Mititelu is adamant they’ll avoid further punishment.
He told Golazo : “We will not be excluded. The situation will be resolved one way or another.
“We have already contested every point deduction and the refusal to be accepted into League 2 at the Court.

“The files are pending, so their decisions cannot produce effects while they are contested.”
Craiova’s massive points deduction is over THREE TIMES the one issued to Italian bigwigs AC Milan , Fiorentina and Lazio for their roles in the Calciopoli match-fixing scandal.
The trio each had 30 points deducted from their respective hauls for the 2005/6 season, although Juventus were hit even harder as they were relegated to Serie B.
