THE price of England World Cup tickets soared after the Three Lions’ win against Croatia gave fans belief the team can go all the way.

The cheapest ticket for that game was just under £700 before England’s first match kicked off on Wednesday.
As more encouraged fans flew across the Atlantic, caused prices on Fifa’s official resale platform for the Group L clash at to soar to more than £900.
The most expensive — including “front row” Category One seats — are being flogged for £17,000.
A source said: “Prices have gone up because of the win and because people have decided to go at the last minute.”
Prices for the group stage closer against South American minnows have also risen from £455 ($600) to £682 ($900) since played their first game.
The most expensive tickets for that game are also around £11,000 ($14,520), though the median cost is £1,800 ($2,376).
Tickets are still being sold far above face value despite fears that prices would collapse because of a lack of demand.
