DEREK CHISORA and David Haye’s X-rated rivalry was settled by the Hayemaker popping Del’s six-pack cherry.
In 2012, moments after Chisora had valiantly lost to Vitali Klitschko, he clashed with Haye in what became one of the most shocking press conferences in British boxing.

Following a trade of verbal insults, they came nose-to-nose and Haye landed a punch while holding a glass bottle.
Chisora went berserk – leaving Haye’s trainer Adam Booth bloodied – and vowing to “shoot” his rival before he was arrested, questioned and bailed by Munich police.
The bad blood was so toxic that when the pair fought five months later – in a mega-money Upton Park brawl – the British Boxing Board of Control refused to sanction it.
Haye settled the scandal with a violent fifth round KO but six years later it was his turn to be stunned when Chisora called out of the blue.
Ahead of his 50th – and allegedly final – , Chisora told our No Gloves Lost show: “After the Carlos Takam fight, something was missing from my career and – for some reason – David Haye came into my mind.
“I called him up and I went to meet him at his place in the Park Plaza. I told him I wanted him to manage me and he just looked at me, in shock.
“He must have thought ‘what is this guy smoking?’ He told me he would let me know and the next day he said ‘yes’.
“We left it a couple of weeks and then arranged the Dillian Whyte but then he called me and asked me what I weighed.

“When I told him, he said ‘if I am going to manage you, I want to do it my way, the right way.’
“And he told me I had to go and live with him! I didn’t think he was serious but I realised that was what I had asked for then.
“Then, when I boxed, it was the first time I ever had a six-pack and it was because of David Haye. And since then we have been very close.”
The pair have remained so close that believes the boxer-turned-businessman would protect him from a lucrative but brutal 51st dance, if he beats the Bronze Bomber.
A 37th win would undoubtedly spark interest in a showdown with Fabio Wardley or Daniel Dubois – – or even 21-year-old superstar Moses Itauma.
But War Chisora reckons he has a true ally in his previous most spiteful adversary.
“Why would I want to fight a 21-year-old southpaw?” he laughed about the indecent Itauma proposition. “For what reason?
“What do I want to fight any of these young guys for? Even if David Haye was still my manager – he would not let me fight these guys.”
