Former Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has stated that there is no antagonistic relationship between President Bola Tinubu's administration and the former ministers who served under the late President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mohammed made this statement on Monday during an interview on 'Sunrise Daily,' a program on Channels Television that was monitored by DAILY POST.

He was responding to allegations of corruption directed at some former ministers.

The politician from Kwara emphasized that Buhari's legacy is not under scrutiny, highlighting the significant achievements made during the former president's eight-year tenure.

“I don’t perceive any hostile relationship, to be honest. Having been a spokesperson for both the opposition and the government consecutively, I have an understanding of both perspectives,” he remarked.

“It may sometimes seem that there is a discontinuity in certain programs, but as we often say in politics, we campaign in poetry, but we govern in prose,” he added.
