Benn earned around £11million following a 10-round decision win over veteran Regis Prograis.
He fought as the co-main event to ‘s unanimous decision .
But the performance failed to fully convince fans, with some branding it underwhelming despite the victory.
The deal was always intended to be temporary, as CEO signed Benn to his new promotional company, Zuffa Boxing.
Benn made it clear Zuffa’s deal was for just one bout, leaving him a free agent once the fight was done.
However, it is likely that Zuffa will resign Benn for another fight deal.
The 29-year-old wasted no time in calling out WBC welterweight king in a bid to secure another blockbuster payday and a world title shot.
Benn called out Garcia after the fight, saying: “Garcia, I want my belt! I want my belt. Keep my belt warm.”

Garcia responded to the call out on social media with a spray of posts on X.
He said, “CONNOR BUMM.”
In a second post, he accepted the fight and said, “I’m down. GARCIA VS. BENN. Let’s do it!!!!!!”
Lastly, he said their fight would not go the distance: “Mark my words, his corner or the ref stops my fight with Connor in the 6–7 round.”
It’s clear both fighters want the fight for, but behind the scenes, Benn’s promotional future remains uncertain.
His split from longtime promoter has turned increasingly bitter in recent weeks.
The pair have been locked in a war of words following Benn’s departure from Matchroom after ten years.
after Benn denied claims he had been loaned £550,000 during their partnership.
The promoter is also said to be furious over suggestions Matchroom did not support Benn during his failed drug test saga ahead of the cancelled 2022 clash with .
With tensions still high, a reunion appears unlikely.
And with no deal currently in place, Benn now faces a crucial next move in his career.
