CHELSEA fans were left baffled as boss Liam Rosenior passed a note to his players in the 84th minute of tonight’s clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Blues were humbled on home soil by the reigning champions of Europe – on the night and 8-2 on aggregate.

Fans booed as Rosenior appeared to pull the plug at 2-0, taking off Enzo Fernandez, Joao Pedro and seemingly to save them for the weekend.

And a fourth quipped: “It’s alright Rosenior in the nick of time has passed a note in the 87th minute 3-0 down at home. What a manager.”

Although another added: “Respect the man’s professionalism!!! 8-2 down in the 84th minute and Rosenior sends out a tactical note to his players.”
