A Catchphrase contestant narrowly missed out on the £50,000 jackpot after stumbling over a tricky picture riddle.
Jane appeared on the gameshow hosted by in a bid to win up to £50,000.


The episode saw Jane go head-to-head against her fellow contestants, Ady and Laura, in the ‘say what you see’ guessing game.
After making it through to the final round, she had her skills put to one final test, going against the clock to answer questions in the Super pyramid.
Unfortunately, she stumbled right at the Super Catchphrase final question – just missing out on the £50k jackpot.
But would you have got it right?
In the clue, a rock star is wearing a denim jacket with different coloured square stamps on the back.
The stamps had happy smiley faces on them, except for one, which had a sad, grumpy face with teeth and a big red arrow pointing to it.
Jane made several incorrect guesses, from “angry squares” to a “patchwork quilt.”
But ultimately, she was unable to figure it out in the time remaining.

Stephen revealed the correct answer was: “A rough patch.”
But didn’t go home empty-handed as she earned an incredible £28,100.
She also won a skydiving experience from earlier in the show and a two-week holiday to by getting the starred catchphrase.
The stunned contestant was overjoyed with her winnings as she jumped up and down and hugged Stephen.

One of the questions asked the player: “Someone with a nightshade intolerance should avoid eating what?” The options were – sweetcorn, potatoes, carrots – with Steve selecting sweetcorn but the correct answer was potatoes.
