BURNLEY’S 2-0 win against Sunderland was brought to a halt by faulty floodlights.
The Premier League clash saw two of last season’s promoted Championship sides do battle at Turf Moor, with the Clarets coming out on top.

Burnley went ahead through Josh Cullen’s 47th minute strike as Sunderland were caught cold after the break.
But chaos quickly followed as the floodlights began playing up.
Despite it being broad daylight, the bulbs began flickering on and off around the stadium.
Players on the field quickly became distracted by the nuisance lights.
And it forced the referee to bring play to a stop.
Burnley captain Cullen and Sunderland skipper Granit Xhaka were both summoned by the official as he explained the situation.
Meanwhile, ground staff at Turf Moor did their best to fix the dodgy floodlights.
They attempted to turn them on and off several times as players kept warm by passing the ball around.
Their efforts proved futile though as the lights continued to flicker.
And the crowd showed their discontent by booing loudly.
But finally the bulbs seemed to obey as they stayed off for good, allowing the game to get back underway.
The delay didn’t dull Burnley though as they secured their first win of the season when Jaidon Antony made it 2-0 late on.
