BILL and Hillary Clinton will testify in a US House investigation surrounding convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, a spokesman confirmed.
The ex-president and former secretary of state had spent months rejecting subpoenas issued by Representative James Comer of Kentucky, the committee’s Republican chairman.

But the Clintons’ deputy chief of staff Angel Urena said on X, formerly Twitter, today: “The former President and former Secretary of State will be there.
“They look forward to setting a precedent that applies to everyone.”
The former president, 79, and former secretary of state, 78, were issued subpoenas last summer and were scheduled to appear for live depositions.
Bill and Hillary’s attorneys previously argued that they’ve disclosed all of the “limited” information they have on Epstein and his criminal business partner, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Last week, the House Oversight Committee recommended that they be held in contempt for refusing to testify about their relationship with Epstein.
The Clintons had offered to cooperate with the panel but had refused to appear in person, saying the investigation was a partisan exercise aimed at protecting US President Donald Trump.
However, their position shifted after several Democrats on the committee joined Republicans in supporting a recommendation to refer the Clintons to the Justice Department for possible prosecution.
Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s plane several times in the early 2000s after leaving office.
He has expressed regret about the relationship and has denied any wrongdoing, saying he knew nothing about Epstein’s criminal activity.
One photo in the latest release shows the former US president cutting a slice of cake for a woman on board what appears to be a private jet.
Two other men can be seen standing up next to Clinton eating the cake.
The faces of two women in the picture have been redacted.
We do not know where or when the photo was taken, or who took it.
Two other photos from the same scene, including one showing Mr Clinton and Ghislaine Maxwell, were also released in the files.
Neither Bill nor Hillary Clinton has been accused of wrongdoing, and Hillary’s name has not appeared in any of the Epstein files released so far by the Department of Justice.
