The All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched its nationwide electronic membership registration, introducing a digital platform designed to create a new, unified register of party members throughout the country.
In Benue State, preparations for the statewide launch are in full swing, with the official kickoff planned for Monday, January 12, 2026.
Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia will be the first to enroll at his polling unit in Mbangur, Mbadede Council Ward, Vandeikya Local Government Area. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m.
Expected attendees at the kickoff include members of the State Caretaker Committee, E-registration Coordinators, chairpersons of the 23 local government chapters, Head Point Men, Zone A supervisors, and all ward registration agents from Vandeikya.
Governor Alia’s appointees from Vandeikya, Kunav APC stakeholders, and local support groups have also been invited to observe the launch.
The APC encourages all party elders, government officials, and both new and existing members to go to their respective wards for registration or to coordinate with their assigned ward agents.
The party has stated that a National Identification Number (NIN) and a Voter’s Identification Number (VIN) are mandatory for the registration process.
According to the party, the registration exercise will continue until the end of January, and only verified, registered members will be allowed to participate in the upcoming APC congresses.
