AMAZON fans have spotted another wave of Fire Stick blocks with owners fearing a fresh crackdown on dodgy piracy apps.
The giant began blocking its users from installing apps outside of its own app store since October last year.

Initially, users would see warning messages when downloading and opening apps that believed to have pirated content available on them.
Now, these apps have been almost fully blocked making them almost impossible to be installed or launched from the devices.
But some users have become worried after reporting they were stopped from downloading unofficial apps completely.
Downloading these apps is known as “sideloading” and is used for perfectly legitimate reasons.
However, it has also been a method by which dodgy apps are downloaded to stream pirated content.
Many users have faced an ominous “Unauthorized APK Installation Detected”.
This led to some to believe that sideloaded apps had been banned entirely amid a fresh crackdown.
However, according to APTV , this is a mistake that shouldn’t be seen by regular customers.
Rather, it’s reportedly meant for internal testers at Amazon to stop them leaking information on unreleased devices.
The bad news for users though is that there doesn’t seem to be an immediate fix.
A factory reset doesn’t seem to remedy the issue nor does there seem like an obvious solution.
Instead, users are advised to reach out to Amazon customer support with the device’s serial number.
