Former Ghanaian striker, Asamoah Gyang, has reacted to Moroccan 2-0 win over world number two football nation, Belgium, in the World Cup on Sunday.
Goals from Zakaria Aboukhlal and Abdelhamid Sabiri secured Morocco’s famous win over the European giants.
The win put the North Africans in a good position to progress to the round of sixteen of the tournament in Qatar.
Gyang believes that the players’ love for the manager, their team work and composure were factors that led to their historic victory on Sunday.
“The players love [the manager]. You can see the celebration. You see them kissing his forehead and everything.
“It was an amazing performance and the most interesting thing is that they didn’t beat just anybody but the second ranked team in the world.
“This Moroccan team were moving as a team and were able to manage the game very very well. Even when they were leading there was no pressure on them,” he said on SuperSport after the game.
