ENGLAND boss Gareth Southgate has received a massive boost as Raheem Sterling is ready to fly back to Qatar.
Sterling, 27, pulled out of the squad ahead of the 3-0 last-16 win over Senegal following a burglary at his home in Surrey.
But reports suggest that he will rejoin the England squad on time for their huge quarter-final clash against France.
Meanwhile, the FA reportedly wants Gareth Southgate to stay as England’s manager after the World Cup.
The Three Lions boss has been in charge since October 2016 and is England’s most successful manager since Sir Alf Ramsey.
And Cristiano Ronaldo did not train with Portugal’s other last-16 substitutes on Wednesday.
