President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday following a ten-day working trip to Lagos.
He was welcomed at the airport by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and others.
During his time in Lagos, the president engaged in several high-profile meetings with investors, inaugurated projects, and participated in national events.
A statement from Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, indicated that the President arrived in Lagos on Friday, September 26, after attending the coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, in Ibadan.
He held discussions with investors, including Bayo Ogunlesi, the Chief Executive Officer of Global Infrastructure Partners, and Keem Belo-Osagie, Chairman of Metis Capital Partners and former Chairman of the United Bank for Africa and Etisalat.
Tinubu also visited Imo State to inaugurate projects carried out by Governor Hope Uzodimma and to launch a book written by the governor.
Over the weekend, the President traveled to Jos, Plateau State, to attend the funeral of Mama Lydia, the mother of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda.
